Why?
Alzheimer's is a type of dementia that affects memory, thinking, and behavior and accounts for 60-80% of dementia cases. Alzheimer's is a progressive disease, where symptoms gradually worsen over a number of years until individuals lose the ability to carry on a conversation and respond to their environment.
Statistics about the prevalence of Alzheimer's Disease
Nearly 7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s and approximately 33% of seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another form of Dementia.
Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with just how devastating this disease can be. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017, and passed away in 2022.

What?
To celebrate my 34th year of life, I will be taking on a gauntlet of 34 retro video games from various years and platforms.
A small sample of the games to expect
Each game comes with an in-game challenge to test my skills. I will donate $10 for every challenge I complete during the stream.

Additionally, to add some excitement, I will be playing the games using a shuffler. The shuffler will randomly swap the game I am playing every five minutes.
Donation Incentives
Your donations aren't just for a good cause, they also make the stream more fun! Here are the incentives for this year:

I will immediately swap to a random game.

I will read a random fact about the world's best dog breed.

We will stop everything to watch the D.K. Rap on stream.

My wife will play the next game that we swap to.
$50 - The Macarena
I will (attempt) to dance the Macarena on stream.
$100 - Sour Pickle
Against my better judgement, I will eat an entire sour pickle from the Dollar Store on stream. **One time only incentive**.
Donations in any other amount will be rounded down to the nearest available incentive (e.g. a $28 donation would activate the "D.K. Rap" incentive).
When?
The charity live stream will begin at 11am PT on November 16th and will last around 12 hours. The window to donate opens on November 3rd and closes on November 30th, so please feel free to donate before or after the live stream.
